I have produced published work in the following topics:
My research interests:

Born out of a child's desire to design Formula 1 race cars, my interests have always been close to the world of Mechanical Engineering.
Thanks to a series of encounters and happy accidents, I was able to leave my home country of Italy, and attend university in the USA; I eventually stumbled into the world of academic research, which is now where I aim to pursue a career.
My main research interests are: design and manufacturing of compliant systems, kirigami-based metamaterials, nonlinear dynamics, origami-inspired mechanisms, and rigid-body linkage theory. In the past I have also worked in a Bioengineering lab, but life has taken a different direction since then.
